FARC Citadel where Operation Jaque Hostages Might have been Kept (at Guaviare and Vichada)
This video in Spanish shows the small city where Alias Gafas and Cesar, the Hostage Jailers are believed to have kept the a large group of kidnapped people for years. At the center of the Citadel located in the deep of the Colombian Jungle, there were 42 houses, a weapons compound, and a large electrical electrical generation plant that provided electricity and running water to the jungle citadel. The citadel had a weapons cache and a machine shop for repairing guns and making grenades and bombs. 9 seconds into the video you will be able to see some very small cage hut where many of the hostages are believed to been kept.
The place was found yesterday as part of an operation in which two informants from the FARC (Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia) told the Colombian Government the coordinates of the rebel camp. Colombian soldiers made it to the place, had a clash with some guerrillas and ceased the place where they gathered intelligence and finally proceeded to destroy.
